Article Title: Low-load blood flow restriction training and ischemia modulate expression of Na + ,K + -ATPase and FXYDs in human skeletal muscle
doi: 10.64898/2025.12.24.696414
Figure Lengend Snippet: For the last 24 hours differentiated human myotubes were exposed to normoxia (NOR), glucose deficiency (glucose-free medium, NGD), hypoxia (0.1% O 2 , HYP), or both – ischemia (HGD) in serum-free DMEM. See text for details. qPCR was used to estimate gene expression of (A) NKAα1 ( ATP1A1 ), (B) NKAα2 ( ATP1A2 ), (C) NKAα3 ( ATP1A3 ), (D) NKAβ1 ( ATP1B1 ), (E) NKAβ2 ( ATP1B2 ), (F) NKAβ3 ( ATP1B3 ), (G) FXYD1 , and (H) FXYD5 . Immunoblotting was used to estimate protein abundance of (I) NKAα1, (J) pNKAα1 (Tyr 10 ), (K) phosphorylation of NKAα1, relative to total protein, (L) NKAα2, (M) NKAβ1, (N) Sp1, and (O) FXYD5. Results are means ± SD for n=6 for qPCR and n=5-6 for immunoblotting; * P <0.05 vs. NOR. In case of unspecific bands arrowheads mark the specific bands that were used in densitometric analysis. Ordinary one-way ANOVA with Dunnett’s post-hoc test was used for statistical evaluation.
